Tesla revealed a new product called ‘Virtual Machine Mode’

Tesla the leading EV maker in the world puts a lot of effort into producing software products. The company has a better understanding of energy storage and wants to take advantage of its rapid growth.

This time, Tesla has worked to produce a new software product called “Tesla Virtual Machine Mode.” The new project is deployed in South Australia in collaboration with France’s Neoen.

This French company owns the Hornsdale Power Reserve (HPR) in South Australia.

The company announced that through collaboration with Tesla they have obtained approval to offer the “world’s first grid-scale inertia services”

This new software product of Tesla is also nicked named “Tesla Big Battery.”

The new project has shown a positive result and proved to be profitable setting examples for other energy storage projects.

Tesla in recent years worked on many other software products including Autobidder in 2020, a real-time trading and control platform for energy assets. The energy assets include Tesla’s Powerpacks, Powerwalls, and Megapacks.
